LA Fashion Week is coming up so is a good excuse to profile the stunning 5’9.5″ Larysa and a good excuse to show some amazing pics.  Came back across these runway shots from one of our Top Models Larysa at the Beach Bunny Swimwear runway show during Fashion Week here in Los Angeles last year.  Larysa just got back in town after a month of international modeling jobs and a week or two break over the holidays.  All photo taken by Sirena’s own Jason Wild.  Please check out the online model portfolio from Larysa here.

We used a Ring Flash and a Beauty Dish separately to get these awesome photo results. Each resulted in very different look and style.  Martina, one of our popular 5’9″ fashion catalog models, came by the Sirena Agency office yesterday to get a few current fashion / glamour shots to add to her online portfolio.  We were originally planning to shoot on the rooftop outside (look for that photo shoot in the future), but had an unusual Los Angeles rainy morning. With a change of plans we ended up just having a quick 15 minute shoot inside utilizing Sirena Models’ vast array of photography equipment.  Using the ring flash, a doughnut shaped light that goes around the camera lens, resulted in the Maxim style glamour shots.  Arms and legs show a streak of highlight with a shadowed fall-off that accentuates the models body.  A few of the shots were taken with the Hensel Beauty Dish, a studio light attachment that looks like a big chinese wok, giving photos a nice and soft yet crisp beauty look.  A 20 percent grid was also used on the Beauty Dish to enhance the shadows and concentrate the light with even fall-off from center.  Hair and Make-up was done by the model herself in just a few minutes in the changing room. We just got through implementing a fresh new website look that has been fully re-designed in CSS with database management.  This was nearly a 4 month process but the results look great. It is also as easy to navigate as a website could get.  A few pages will be updated like the Modeling Industry Information section and the new Polaroids and Video sections for each model.  Check back for those updates.

Sirena Models welcomed Laura on board 2 days ago.  Laura is a well rounded model and actress as well as an accomplished martial arts master.  Absolutely beautiful face and flawless body make the total package.  Laura’s model portfolio is now up on the website.

Our good girl / bad girl model Megan L. shows off in her new fashion photo sets. Relatively new to modeling, 5’9″ Megan is really starting to build her book. These new fashion shots look great. She has a sweetheart personality with a beautiful angelic face but with just a touch of daring to spice things up. Look for more exciting things from total fox Megan. Monika Z was nice enough to stop by and model with Sirena’s new Model Portfolio Books and is one of the first to get one. The model portfolio books are gun-metal grey metallic leather. The logo is de-bossed silver. Fine stitched with acid-free clear inserts. These are available by calling Sirena Models or coming by the office.
